REDI Announces New Economic Development Director

ROBINS, IA — The Robins Economic Development Initiative (REDI) is pleased to announce the
appointment of Ken Paxton as the organization’s new Economic Development Director.

Paxton brings more than 20 years of economic development experience, having served
communities across Iowa in a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Executive
Director of the Greene County Development Corporation, where he played a key role in major
community and economic initiatives.

Throughout his career, Paxton has worked closely with communities and businesses to identify
opportunities for growth and long-term success. His background includes experience in strategic
planning, project management, marketing, and business ownership.

“The REDI board is excited about the direction ahead with Ken’s extensive experience and looks
forward to the positive impact he will have on Robins,” said Carrie Wilkinson, REDI’s Chair.
“We are confident that his expertise, passion, and dedication will help us continue to grow
thoughtfully and successfully.”

During his tenure in Greene County, the community experienced significant growth and
investment, including development projects such as a new casino, a $35 million high school and
junior college project, a new Early Learning Center, a new Hy-Vee, and multiple new business
developments.

As REDI’s new Economic Development Director, Paxton will focus on supporting business
attraction, community partnerships, and strategic growth initiatives throughout Robins and the
surrounding region.
