Recreation
One of Robins’ main recreational amenities is the beautiful Cedar Valley Nature Trail (CVNT), which runs through the city with access and parking at several points. The CVNT stretches 67 miles from Evansdale to Ely. It is part of the American Discovery Trail and the National Rails to Trails routes.

Pleasant Creek
Pleasant Creek State Recreational area is only 8 miles from Robins. It features a 400-acre lake that has excellent fishing and a beach. There are also more than 8 miles of trails winding through restored prairie and connecting to scenic overlooks.

Lake Macbride
Lake Macbride and The Coralville Reservoir are only 20 miles away. They provide boating, fishing, hiking, swimming, and other recreational options.
Recreational Sports
Robins is close to the Tuma Sports Complex, which offers multiple soccer fields of various sizes and two full-sized football fields. Prospect Meadows in Marion features numerous baseball fields including a miracle field so every child – including those with special needs – has a chance to play baseball.
Sports Teams
Cedar Rapids is home to the Cedar Rapids Kernels, a High-A level affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. Cedar Rapids is home to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, a USHL hockey team.
